Begin with a longer view.
On the purpose of family capital, independent judgment, and the institution we hope to build.
A private family investment initiative.
Thoughtful stewardship. Independent judgment.
Capital with a purpose beyond today.
Fraser Aberdeen is a private family investment initiative built around a long-term commitment to British Columbia, with Canada serving as the centre of gravity for its future development.
From this Canadian perspective, we look across markets, asset classes and currencies with one consistent aim: to preserve the ability to make good decisions while allowing capital and knowledge to compound across generations.
Richmond, British Columbia, holds a central place in Fraser Aberdeen's long-term vision. Our ambition is to build an enduring family investment office shaped by Canadian institutional discipline, independent thinking and a global outlook.
Three commitments guide our judgment,
in investing and beyond.
Understand what we own, why we own it, and what could change our view. Let evidence lead, and give uncertainty its proper weight.
Remember the people behind the capital. Treat relationships with care, and keep family well-being at the heart of our decisions.
Be honest about our motives and limitations. Take responsibility for our choices, and stay faithful to the purpose of the capital.
Following experience in research and global investment banking, Michael now works as a fixed-income portfolio manager in insurance asset management.
